Manitoba Geocaching Association
The Manitoba Geocaching Association Inc. (MBGA) strives to advance the sport of geocaching in the Province of Manitoba by encouraging fellowship amongst Manitoba geocachers through regular social activities; fostering geocaching etiquette and responsible stewardship of our public lands; raising public awareness and understanding of geocaching through effective use of media relations; ensuring access to public lands for geocaching activities by working as a liaison with public land-use agencies; and promoting geocaching as a worthwhile family-oriented outdoor activity.
GEOCACHING is a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS and can then share their experiences online.
There are 1,914,440 active geocaches, and over 5 million geocachers in the world!

HIGH FIVE® is Canada's quality standard for children's recreation and sport. Before HIGH FIVE, no standard existed and there was a clear need for an innovative approach to help organizations enhance program quality and provide positive experiences for children, which would remain with them for a lifetime.
Today, HIGH FIVE holds true to the five Principles of healthy child development that the research indicates are essential for quality programs:
Manitoba is rockin' with rocks! Find out why the rocks under your feet are more important than you might think!
Geocaching has a long history, but has become increasingly popular in the last decade or so. For a variety of reasons it is more accessible today than ever. It is easier to start, and easier to prepare for, and as a result more people are geocaching today than ever. If you find geocaching interesting, but don't know where to start, we've provided the following guide.
Fit Kids Healthy Kids
Fit Kids Healthy Kids is a Physical Literacy program founded as a partnership between Doctors Manitoba and Sport Manitoba. It teaches children and their adult leaders the fundamentals of movement that make kids confident and competent in sport, recreation, and life. The goal of the program is fit, healthy kids that are active for life.
We believe it is important to provide opportunity for children to learn skills like running, jumping, throwing and catching as well as many others through games and activities that are non-competitive and inclusive.
We believe in a holistic approach to these skills through various activities such as low organized games, stationed play, dance, modified sport and free play.
We provide services that help recreation leaders, health leaders, early childhood educators, parents, teachers and community in general to learn the meaning and importance of physical literacy.
